Our History
The Clemson Photography Club was formed in 2009 by three Clemson University faculty and staff members.
We created the club based on the following:
- Create an environment for learning about photography and participating in photographic activities
- Sharing our knowledge to assist each other in becoming better photographers and teaching others who desire to learn
- And to have fun in our hobby
During these years, we have expanded club activities to include:
- Juried Member Photo Exhibit held in the fall of each year
- Member Website
- Participation in the Photographic Society of America (PSA) juried exhibits (we have a number of honorable mention awardees in our club)
- Photographic field trips
We meet the 3rd Monday of each month from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Clemson University, Charles K. Cheezem Education Center, Patrick Square, 100 Thomas Green Blvd., Clemson, SC 29631.
You may attend two meetings free of charge to see if the club is the right fit for you. Should you decide to continue, we require membership dues be paid prior to the third meeting. Please click here for more information on joining: Membership
We look forward to seeing you in the future! If you have any questions, please email clemsonphotoclub@gmail.com
